A little about me

My name is Carolina, pronounced CARO-LEE-NAH

I use my gifts of compassion, empathy and drive to create beautiful things.

My journey

I graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, IL with a B.A. in Communications with a concentration in public relations, advertising & journalism.

Music has always been a passion of mine, and working in music has always been my dream. I was fortunate enough to intern at Live Nation, Music Dealers, Toast & Jam, Victory Records, and AMP Booking. I’m also lucky to say that I worked at House of Blues Chicago for 5 years, which was one of the greatest experiences of my life.

Although life seems to not care about your plans, one thing was certain, public service and advocacy work is part of my purpose. As a child, whether I was helping out at my mother’s business with her immigration cases, or volunteering at a non-profit, to eventually starting my own organization. My passion for social justice touches everything I do. I have a strong background in advocacy work, and have been working with immigrant communities and on immigration cases for over 10 years.
